Brian Irons
Brian Irons (voiced by Gary Krawford) is the city's corrupt Chief of Police and appears only in Claire's half of the game. Claire first meets the Chief in his office with the recently deceased body of the Mayor's daughter on his desk. He later disappears from the office and leaves behind his diary, in which he describes his desire to hunt down the Mayor's daughter and use her body as a stuffed trophy.
Irons was responsible for the deaths of several officers when he went insane and hunted them. Additional documents also reveal that the character was previously accused, but never convicted, of sexual assault and had been taking bribes from Umbrella, particularly from William Birkin. Claire confronts Irons one last time in a hidden room behind his office before he is killed by the mutated Birkin, either because he injects the G-Virus embryo or by being torn apart.
资料2 Raccoon City Outbreak & Death
When the T-Virus was unleashed by William Birkin, Irons' Umbrella contact, into Raccoon, chaos ensued and the population was gradually overrun by the living dead and uncontrollable B.O.W.s. Irons tried to keep order, commanding his officers to keep the civilians in the station safe while fending off the undead. Eventually, the zombies breached the station's garage and overrun the station. Before Harris was overrun by zombies and killed, he entrusted his daughter; Beverly Harris, to Irons' care.
Unfortunately, by this time Irons' mental state had begun to fray, with Irons' fuming and taking personal offense to Umbrella for "ruining his beautiful town" after all he had done for them, especially Birkin, his neurotic wife and their brat daughter, and eventually began suffering psychotic episodes where his fondness for killing reared it's head without Irons' own knowledge. Irons, in one of his episodes, stabbed and ripped Beverly's guts to bloody shreds, killing her, though didn't realize he was responsible. In the haze that followed, Irons, believing Beverly was asleep and the "red splash" was a minor injury and having paternal affection for her, brought her to Sanctuary, and later put her on top of his desk in his lavishly-decorated office.
Eventually, Irons embraced his murdering tendencies, and gave them free reign, hunting down several of his remaining officers; including Ed and Neil Carson. Irons also ensured no one else would survive the crisis, by scattering the stations' ammo supplies, sealing the exits etc.
Later, while Irons was meditating in his office and leering over Beverly's body, Claire Redfield, sister of his least-favorite ex-subordinate Chris Redfield, arrived. Irons kept his mental condition in check until she left.
Later, Claire, who had realized there was a secret passageway in the office and as such gathered up scattered keys and puzzle parts, confronted Irons in "Sanctuary". Irons was poised to shoot and kill Claire, believing her to be an Umbrella spy, but before he could, Irons was attacked and dragged beneath a trap-door by Birkin, now mutated into "G", who promptly ripped him in half and threw his upper torso back through the trap-door which Claire and Sherry used to escape the infested station.
