A few people who are in the know told me it's 9s mostly and I've heard from others there's a lot of 10s, specifically from certain major outlets that they absolutely love it. These same people told me the same about Pokemon and its' reception. Of course, just like GoW there's going to be a handful of 8s and the usual 7s and under from the 1-3 people, troll reviews or not.

But I don't know how it will do with fans. All I know is critics seem to be losing it over the game. So just don't be surprised if Death Stranding and Pokemon are two of the highest rated games this year.

I think it's fine to be down on the gameplay but this story legit sounds hype as fuck and could carry the game for you. It's a far cry from MGSV where the story was the weakest element, in Death Stranding, the story is arguably the strongest part of the game, expect a lot of praise. It really reminds me of classic Kojima where you had a tight narrative and solid gameplay to support it.

Originally I was thinking this would sit in the mid 80s but there's literally no chance in hell this isn't a 90+ game tbh.

不管好评差评基本所有泄漏都肯定了剧情，这部分肯定可以期待了..

这游戏会不会有什么和支线挂钩的隐藏结局之类的，也许天上的不明物需要达成一些条件才能解密？我觉得这个应该有一定可能吧。而且小岛提到的雪山任务应该也是支线吧

这次剧情的总体印象都是极其扎实和完整，所以导致那位mr.T也肯定走路模拟是贴合叙事的游玩方式。（虽然我没看完整的故事剧透）

彩蛋估计不少，不过我还是觉得才开发三年，完成度应该不会高到这种程度吧..光有泄漏水平就很夸张了

Jeff Cannata from the latest podcast of DLC - He criticized Riot games announcements saying its neat but they could have been so much more ambitious and references Death Stranding and I am paraphrasing-

" Riot Games could have done something more innovative with the capital they have at their disposal. Its hard for me what I would want from them without refrencing something I am not supposed to talk about but Simon and I are playing Death Stranding right now. Riot Games seems to be more interested in checking all the boxes of a list rather than actually doing something new.
