Today Team Acer can officially announce the acquisition of Lee "(T)INnoVation" Shin Hyung. The Korean Terran will be known as Acer|INnoVation as of September 1st, which has already begun in his home of South Korea. INnoVation will live in the Axiom house and play for Axiom-Acer in GSTL, while playing for Team Acer in all foreign and Korean individual tournaments.

Team Acer CEO Uwe "Acer | webmuggle" Semtner issued the following statement regarding the Terran's acquisition:
"It was a great honor and a huge chance for us when the opportunity arose for us to add INnoVation to our StarCraft 2 roster. An honor because he chose our team, a chance because you don't get a call from one of the best players in the world, telling you that he want to join your team, every day!
INnoVation is a great addition to our existing roster and everybody, especially our Zergs, will benefit from his arrival. He will also be part of our upcoming GSTL Team, togehter with Axiom. I'm looking forward to a very interesting and, hopefully, very successful time for our new StarCraft 2 roster."

Team Acer于今天正式宣布了人族选手Lee "INnoVation" Shin Hyung的加盟。他从9月1日起将会以Acer|INnoVation的身份出现。与此同时他将入驻Axiom的训练基地，参加Axiom-Acer连队在GSTL中的比赛，当然也少不了参加各式各样的海外以及韩国本土的个人项目。

STX passed along the announcement to KeSPA that they cannot keep running STX SouL. STX had wanted to continue their sponsorship of the team, and KeSPA offered that they would get sub-sponsors to help out STX if they would stay on board. However, the creditors rejected the suggestion, and the potential sub-sponsors backed out upon hearing the news.
The Soul players (P)Dear, (P)Classic, (P)Mini, (P)Trap, and (Z)Size had participated in the 'posting' process (a draft/auction to the remaining KeSPA teams) in secret on the 28th of August, with (T)INnoVation opting out due to joining team Acer. Only Classic was able to join a KeSPA team through posting, joining SK Telecom T1.
Coaches Calm and Park Jong Soo have decided to begin their military service. Mini has retired, while Hyvaa is rumored to have retired.
Some of the remaining players are looking to join foreign teams, while the remaining players and coaching staff will participate in the GSTL as Team "SouL." They are expected to acquire new players such as Hwangsin and SSaNaEE for this purpose. The head coach of SouL, Kim Min Gi and coach Choi Won Suk have made a contract for a team house around Incheon at their own expense to help gamers who want to continue their careers.

日前STX向KeSPA通告了他们无法继续赞助STX Soul的窘况。STX一度努力想继续维持赞助，KeSPA也曾表示如果STX继续赞助，他们会相应的帮助联系一些其他赞助方来减轻STX的压力。然而资方最终回绝了这项建议，其他赞助者也因此暂时持币观望。
Soul现有队员Dear(神族)、Classic(神族)、Mini(神族)、Trap(神族)、Size(虫族)于8月28日参与了不公开进行的"摘牌"流程(现存的KeSPA队伍竞标/草签转会合同)，其中仅有Classic在"摘牌"过程中被SK Telecom T1相中；另外INnoVation(人族)选择了加盟Team Acer。
队中的两位教练"Calm"和" Park Jong Soo"选择开始服义务兵役，队员中Mini选择退休，相传Hyvaa也有退休的意愿。
剩余的队员们仍处于寻求海外队伍接纳的状况。与此同时剩余的教练和工作希望通过引进Hwangsin和SSaNaEE来补充队伍阵容，以Team SouL的名义参加GSTL联赛。队伍主教练Kim Min Gi和另一位教练Choi Won Suk已自行出资，在位于Incheon附近租了新的训练基地以帮助想继续职业生涯的队员。
