This video is already GREAT quality to me, but yes, everyone please remember that the bluray version for DVD is going to be 1080p. Like bluewolf98 said, this is just an advertisement.

@Salvysahagun no his orange ginn wass damaged a few weeks before the attack of heliopolis thanks to Serpent Tail mercenary Gai Murakumo. so he had no choice but to use a non customed ginn

Huh? It looks like they removed the shot of the Astray Red Frame from the opening and "added" Miguel's GINN in it's place, but it didn't appear in the anime either. I wonder why they did that.

@MegaMegaman87 That's Miguel Aiman's custom Ginn, it was damaged while fighting Serpent Tail (a mercenary team), so he never used it in the anime.

@gigadrill quality of animation no, but in terms of quality of the overall show there was alot of problems. For a gundam show a bunch of corners were cut that fans complained about. So they are redoing it.
Things like the Strike gundam flying below and enemy and shooting up at them were reused like 25 times in the show... super blatant about it which isnt something we usually get with gundam. Thats the stuff thats getting redone.

Opening sequence has different animation and some of the details are cleaned up. So far this is not encouraging enough to get the blu-ray

wasnt no difference was there -_O, i was really excited about this too, how dissapointing, but has encouraged me to go watch the older version again instead of waiting for the next episode of exactley the same quality and no changes. there were some scenes in this that i thought i could see the improvments but then all of a sudden im like wtf

i compare it side by side with the old seed episode 1. some parts the prospective have changed. some explosions from pink smoke to orange -.-; and the ending song changed.

The only thing I should have liked this SEED Remastered (but no) was Miguel's "Orange" Ginn was being shoot by a Mobius Zero... -*-
Other than that, despite re-editing some 3D models, I rarely see its differences from the original series.

I watched the original release of SEED a lot went it first came out. ITS IS THE EXACT SAME EPISODE! Where is the remade stuff? and it's only 480... This is not a remaster... the only thing i noticed that was different was the opening was changed slightly... Whats going on Bandai? why are you letting me down???

@POKENAR But isn't the videos uploaded by GundamInfo not actually uploaded into YouTube? From what I remember, they uploaded the episodes in their own servers and not into YouTube.

@GenesicShinZyraelKai Doesn't matter what server it's running off from, you're still watching it in YT, so of course you won't experience the full HD quality that is intended for the Blue-ray release.

@JunoUnit Basically that means that the video ripping application cannot rip off a file that does not exist in the database. The application can only rip-off from YouTube's database and not Bandai. Bandai is just using YouTube to make the episodes easier to seek and watch to the viewers without Bandai having to setup a site of it's own for that purpose... :3
