在E3任天堂公布WiiU时，EA就给出了一份游戏列表，其中就有《战地3》，这将是《战地》系列游戏首次登陆任天堂主机。
WiiUDaily已经传出《战地3》将在2013年登录WiiU，而目前开发组DICE正集中精力完成PC和PS360版的《战地3》最后工序，以确保今年10月25日的发售时间。
据悉DICE目前已经组建了WiiU游戏开发组，但是用他们的话来说“面前还未开工，因为策划还未妥善”，但是可以确定的是WiiU版将在2012年开始制作，2013年发售。但是目前无论EA还是开发组DICE都没有给出具体的WiiU版《战地3》的详细发售时间。
WiiUDaily提到目前有超过250+的DICE组员努力加班来保证《战地3》的准时发售，以及更新DLC内容，WiiU被认为有超越PS360百分之五十的机能，也许我们将在WiiU玩到1080p全高清的《战地3》！
When Nintendo unveiled their Wii U console earlier this Summer at E3, EA showcased a bunch of titles in a trailer. Among those titles was Battlefield 3, which is slated to become the first Battlefield game on a Nintendo console.
According to rumors from WiiUDaily, developer DICE are using all of their resources on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Battlefield 3, working crunch time to make sure the game ships on October 25. According to the rumor, DICE is in possession of a Wii U development unit, but so far haven’t considered porting Battlefield 3 to the Wii U. In fact, it’s not even in the planning stages yet. The earliest a Wii U version of Battlefield 3 would start development would be “well into 2012″, which would mean a 2013 release date. Of course, none of this is confirmed by EA/DICE — so far Battlefield 3 hasn’t gotten an official release date on the Wii U.
WiiUDaily notes that the 250+ strong DICE team is hard at work on BF3 and will be spending considerable time after release working on patches, updates and post content (DLC). The Wii U is the next generation Nintendo console which is said to be 50% more powerful than the PS3 and Xbox 360, and will include an innovative new controller and will support full 1080p gameplay.
