“卡普空和索尼达成了一项多年期协议,为超过一定预算的生化危机游戏宣发。该协议于2024年到期后,卡普空选择不再续约。但这不意味着生化危机不能再上索尼发布会,听说他们关系依然很好,只是不再强制要求。”
I said this yesterday, but to reiterate, while I know over the last few years people are used to Resident Evil being at Sony events, what I've heard is Capcom & Sony had a multi-year marketing deal for RE games above a certain budget that ended in 2024, which Capcom chose not to renew. So it's a title-by-title basis of where Resident Evil games may show up now rather than a guaranteed Sony thing. As far as I know, Sony & Capcom still have a great relationship, this is just about Capcom keeping avenues open for its own marketing.

If you want my simple speculation (and take this JUST as speculation, all this is), but if I were to make a bet, I'd bet that Pragmata will be at the State of Play tomorrow, and Resident Evil 9 will be at SGF on friday. But that's just my guess.
For the record, this was actually just speculation & not a leak in disguise, just sounded like something the Capcom I know might do (while also knowing Pragmata & RE9 are about to be announced). And seems like what we're in for. RE9 for this weekend it is. |
