But the studio’s meteoric rise would not last. In November 2017, the company announced that it was laying off 90 developers, roughly a quarter of its staff. 行尸走肉第一季时 TTG 才 100 人,之后工作室不断壮大游戏品质反而在下滑,现在的250人应该还是在去年裁掉 90 人之后的基础上。
Overwork, job insecurity, and profound burnout are omnipresent concerns; more than three-quarters of developers report working under “crunch” conditions, which can mean working up to 20 hours a day and more than 100 hours a week.
至少我没看出来这种工作量有多少体现在游戏素质上。
老实讲之前 TTG 不断宣部新 IP 我还以为工作室欣欣向荣,真是冰冻三尺非一日之寒。
