Solidot=中文版Slashdot,Slashdot算是个评论区比较火和火爆的站点,和engadget性质差异比较大。个人只看Slashdot。
实际上这件事已经提了将近一年,相关讨论很多,根本不是什么新闻:http://www.xda-developers.com/ch ... out-supersus-future
Chainfire Makes Important Announcement About SuperSU’s Future
September 29, 2015
XDA Recognized Developer Chainfire, a superstar of XDA and the development scene, has just announced that his monolithic SuperSU project will be moving to the hands of Coding Code Mobile Technology, LLC. This marks a new beginning for SuperSU, the most popular and essential root application in existence.
In his G+ post, Chainfire discusses why this decision was made: his passion for SuperSU brought us some of the most amazing developments, and SuperSU remains one of the most influential pieces of software in our development scene. However, over the years his passion for SuperSU development dwindled due to the immense complexity of the project and the stress it caused. Chainfire still committed throughout the years – three and a half, at that – but he now feels it’s time to move on.
This is where Coding Code Mobile Technology LLC (CCMT) comes in to pick up the project. Chainfire was introduced to the people behind CCMT through XDA leadership, and we believe that SuperSU will continue to improve under new maintenance. Moreover, Chainfire will not drop his involvement immediately — instead, he’ll slowly phase out over the course of the next two years. It must be noted that CCMT have invested in various popular root applications, some of which you are probably running right now. This transfer will also give Chainfire the time he needs to embark on new projects that may prove beneficial to the community at large.
According to Chainfire, non-pro SuperSU APKs, ZIPs and other installation packages will remain free to redistribute in unmodified from, so don’t despair. For now, your experience will not change, but it is bound to keep improving.
XDA thanks Chainfire for his amazing contributions to XDA, millions of root users and the Android development scene at large, and we believe this transfer will benefit all parties and all users. We’ll keep you posted on any changes regarding SuperSU, so stay tuned!

SuperSU transferred Sep 30, 2015
SuperSU control and maintenance has been transferred to a newly formed company, Coding Code Mobile Technology LLC ("CCMT").
When I first released SuperSU back in early 2012, I could not have dreamt how big it would become. It has been spectacular seeing it grow from a side project to a popular app totalling almost a hundred million downloads and a couple dozen million active users - significantly more people than live in my entire country. The support of, and encouragement by, many in the Android community over the years has meant more to me than you can possibly imagine.
However, my passion for developing SuperSU has dwindled over the years, and it has gone from being a source of joy and fulfillment to a source of stress and a drain of mental resources. So after three and a half years, it is time to make a change. Over the years I have declined several interesting projects due to my commitment to SuperSU, and while I certainly do not regret doing so, long-term there are other projects and opportunities I am passionate about that I want to persue without having to worry about it.
XDA leadership has introduced me to the people behind CCMT, who will be taking over development and maintenance of SuperSU long-term. While I will continue to work on SuperSU for the moment, my involvement will slowly be phased out over the next two years - by the end of which I will have spent almost six years on this project.
The people at CCMT are no strangers to the root community. They have invested in, or own, a number of popular root apps (though I am not at liberty to disclose which ones) - chances are, you are running one of them right now. I believe SuperSU has found a good home there, and trust time will not prove me wrong.
On a practical note, until further notice (if any), non-Pro SuperSU APKs, ZIPs, etc. are absolutely still free to redistribute in unmodified form.
Yes, this is a new thread for SuperSU as it has been taken over by Coding Code Mobile Technology, Inc (CCMT for short). No, you are not allowed to complain and be disrespectful towards these guys or Chainfire. This has been a long time in the making (some reading for you if you missed out) and if you are upset in the direction it is going, feel free not to use it and/or develop your own root solution (since, you know, we're on a developer's site). Nobody here owes you anything.
