All locations below are level dependent and random, meaning that it may only be a single piece of power armor on the frame, or mix-and-match pieces of several different suit types, or even an empty power armor frame.
A suit can be located inside the abandoned shack, at the very bottom level. Only has the full set at or above level 40 (at this level, three or four out of the parts are usually found), although some players visited the location at level 60+ and still didn't get the complete set. The Abanodoned shack is located within the north-west Glowing Sea. At level 17, this spawned three pieces of X51. Location is level dependent.
A helmet can be located on the Prydwen, on the desk behind the vendor.
A suit can be found during the quest for Bobbi in Goodnei**or, in an optional side-passage that can be drilled by the robot. There are level-dependent Mirelurks inside. -Suit is level dependent.
A suit missing its helmet and right leg can be found in a small guard post on the bridge leading to Fort Strong.
On the northwest outskirts of the National Guard training yard, a suit can be found behind a locked gate inside a shipping crate. The appearance of the suit here may be dependent on the Sole Survivor's level.
The highest accessible point of the Revere satellite array (in one of the dishes, accessed by climbing the various ramshackle 'structures' assembled by the occupying super mutants) holds a power armor spawn/frame.
Found in an old military convoy just west of Finch farm inside what looks like an oil tanker. It may or may not be guarded by a Legendary Mr. Handy (Lieutenant Gutsy).
A suit can be found on the backside of the main building at South Boston military checkpoint behind a terminal-locked gate. If you're not higher than level 32 a lower level suit will spawn.
At the top of the Mass Pike Interchange (accessible only by a lift at the base of the overpass). If detected, a Gunner Commander may enter it.
A suit, only missing legs can be found west of Murkwater construction site in the southernmost swamp. Besides a crashed vertibird guarded by a Mr Gutsy. This seems to be on the same leveling as the Abandoned Shack as X-01 can be found in three or four parts at level 40+)
An almost complete set (missing left arm and right leg) can be found on top of the hill in front of the Poseidon Energy Turbine 18-F next to a military APC.
West of Custom House Tower in an unmarked building named the 35 Court, at the top after an elevator ride. Two robots will exit rooms to attack the player, and then two buttons in those rooms must be pressed to open a third room with the armor. This set of armor may be glitched as it visually appears as a set of T-51 power armor. However, upon entering the suit or looting the items, it will turn into X-01 Mk. I Armor.
