Mousesports' 'Black' and Zenith's 'xFreedom' joining LGD.INT until the end of the ACE season
JoinDota spoke a few words with the team to hear their input on why these changes were made.

You have picked up one of the most acclaimed farmers in European scene de Dominik 'Black' Reitmeier, how do you feel he will work with the team and do you feel it will make a difference with him in the hard farming roll which pushes Pajkatt to the solo mid?
Most people recognize Pajkatt as a carry player only; and I can understand that. But he's actually much more of a flexible player than most fans know. He used to play mid for CLG, and he's ready to take that role up again. I'm really excited to have Black on the team.
We had a lot of options, but when it comes to taking five people to China, arguably the most difficult proving ground for a new team, I knew I wanted someone who had the dedication and attitude to match the talent and skill. Black was a natural option. Plus, the three of us have wanted to play with him for a while.
Can you give any clues to who you are looking at to be the 5th player after ACE League?
Well, we had a solid player in mind, but he was unable to attend due to an ongoing term at his University. So right now, we don't want to rush anything. We have a few ideas, but it will probably be put on hold until ACE completes.

Uebelst Gaming disbands
After a five game losing streak in Star Series VII, Uebelst has decided to disband but they will continue to play Starladder's tournament in its entirety. No info were given about where the Uebelst players will be heading to.
According to a tweet by Alexander 'Alex-' Reinhardt, German team Uebelst Gaming have disbanded, raising more speculations of the team joining the upcoming European shuffle.
Although disbanded, Alexander mentioned that the team will continue playing in Starladder Star Series VII until the end of the season. Uebelst replaced the disbanded Can't Describe team and had to replay all their games. They ended up not winning a single game and is currently in last place with a record of 0-9.

就现在的情况来看 LGD可以算是一个标杆了 一边是因为他变动最少 而且连战术也完全不能改变 只能打4保1 昨天打了3场双核 统统给人打出屎来

只有打单核那场还能打得有来有回 可以说LGD在这次地震中 战斗力变化最少 可以通过看对LGD的比赛来分析其他几个队的实力

就目前情况来说 DK还在磨合 而无论是VG IG TF只要打出配合 都是血虐LGD的节奏 当然 这是配合的上限 而几个队的下限 还是比较深的、、、、

Aui_2000 is now free from Dignitas after his contract with the team was settled through financial means. He will be joining Kaipi and the team is also highly speculated to be sponsored by a Chinese organization.
Just moments ago, Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling has been officially released by Team Dignitas through a mutual financial settlement for his former contract with the team.

Statement by Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling:
I entered the DotA2 scene with team potm bottom in March of 2012. We had a very good run through that summer and as a result we had a few sponsorship offers. We declined them all because we wanted to wait for a sponsor that was right for us--one that would work with us and help us succeed. Then we made contact with Team dignitas. We were all relatively new to the DotA2 scene and none of us had ever even been to a LAN. Team dignitas held our hand, invited us into their family, and helped us a grow as a team--I do not think I could have asked for a better first sponsor experience. Unfortunately the time to depart has come. I would like to thank Team dignitas for taking us in and in particular our manager dignitas.monolith and the sponsors who made it possible to attend lans and play professional. Thank you to all the fans who supported us on the dignitas dota2 team.

The team Aui_2000 is going to undoubtedly Kaipi, a team he has been scrimming with since the end of The International 3. Kaipi has also been on the spotlight recently with the team close to sealing a sponsorship deal that will bring them to China by the end of the year, our insiders informed.
Besides that, Saahil 'Universe' is also highly rumoured to be joining Evil Geniuses. If their roster in MLG Fall and WePlay is any indication, the new Team Dignitas will have 1437, Korok, Bdiz, Inphinity and Peterpandam.

我了个大去，kaipi成为第二支由国内赞助商赞助的国际队伍，将在年底来到中国，并更名为rattlesnake.int

Many months after forming and competing at the highest level, Kaipi finally signed the contracts and has been officially picked up by Rattlesnake. Their new team name will be called Rattlesnake.int.
After playing at high level for many months without a sponsor, Jacky 'EternalEnvy' Mao and the rest of Kaipi have been in talks with Rattlesnake and the deal is finally sealed. They signed the contracts earlier today and will be playing with the Rattlesnake.int tag from now on. Rattlesnake explained that sponsoring Kaipi is a $200,000 investment and the money will go to the players directly in form of salary, gaming house in North America, equipments and travel.
According to the sponsors, the Rattlesnake.int team will likely not move to China until the end of the year. This can mostly be attributed to the long ACE League season, starting on the 22nd of September, in which Rattlesnake.Int wasn't invited.
Apart from the announcement, Rattlesnake also confirmed that long time Team Dignitas player Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling will be officially joining Rattlesnake.Int. This should not come as too much of a surprise considering Aui_2000 has been playing as a stand-in for Kaipi ever since The International 3 ended.
Kaipi will be the second international Dota 2 team to carry their dreams to unfamiliar territory. LGD.Int was the first team to do so and they made a lot of noise when they got into the grand final of G-League. They lost their grand final game against Invictus Gaming and has not had any significant achievements since.
Rattlesnake.int is currently placed first in StarLadder Star Series VII and has qualified for the second groupstage of WePlay Season Two.

Fixed being able to instantly toggle Armlet on and off
Spirit Breaker: Fixed Greater Bash not applying further knockback on units that were already getting knocked back
Clockwerk: Fixed Power Cogs night vision being too large
Lone Druid: Fixed Level 1/2 Spirit Bear having 1800 day vision instead of 1400
Fixed Shadow Blade revealing only when the attack hit the target rather than when it was launched

LOCAL PLAY
Local servers allows players on the same physical network to connect to a locally hosted game
By selecting "Create Local Lobby", the leader of the lobby will become the host for a match by running a local server
Players can see Local lobbies available on their physical network by going to "FIND A LOBBY" and selecting the "LOCAL LOBBIES" tab
Local Lobbies follow the same rules as Private Lobbies.
Upon completion of the Local game, the replay will be stored on the lobby leader's computer in replays/<match-id>.dem

ECONOMY
The quality of the item drops you are eligible for is now tied to your Dota profile level. You can see your current drop level in your profile page
A quick-search bar has been added to the armory
Filters can now be created for the armory. These filters are stored in the Steam Cloud so that every machine you use will know your armory filter settings
An armory page now contains 60 items instead of 64. Armory sizes have been increased upwards slightly to account for this adjustment
Many items have been removed from the store. These can now be sold and bought on the Steam Community Market! Workshop contributors will receive a share of each resale of their items. The items that have been removed are not immortal: they may return to the store in future sales or events, or they may appear in the drop list from time to time
The item drop list has been greatly pared down and will now change over time. As new items are introduced old items will be removed (and will be accessible on the Steam Community Market). This should help keep the item drop list interesting over time
Entropic Shield and Entropic Axe are now a part of the Entropic set

9.99刀太坑了，hud没有，信使没有，比赛时间也不长，场次也不知道多少
赛程表上是2个月打9轮联赛不知道有没后续，来来回回就那8只队伍外带几只鱼腩队，天知道能打出什么花样来
我反正很不愿意买这票，看赛程表除了第一天首场是晚上八点开始，剩下的全都是下午4点一场，晚上7点一场，工作日的话基本上50%的场次没法看了吧

Evil Geniuses added MSS, Universe and Fogged to replace Bamboe, Bdiz and most surprisingly Demon from the team. According to Gamespot, it was tough for EG to let Demon go but the player left on good terms.
Just a few short hours before their post-TI3 debut game in WePlay Season Two, Evil Geniuses have unveiled their new roster and Alaan 'Bamboe' Faraj, Robert 'Bdiz' Tinnes and long time EG player Jimmy 'Demon' Ho are out of the team.
In place of the three outstanding players are former Dignitas players, Ioannis 'Fogged' Loucas and Saahil 'Universe' Arora, and new player to the competitive scene Arif 'MSS' Anwar. Clinton 'Fear' Loomis, EG's team captain, is allegedly given free reigns to decide who is joining or leaving the team. Gamespot reports that the main criteria Fear looked for when selecting these players are consistency and focus, stating the underperformance of the old EG team came from differing opinions and work ethics.
According to the same Gamespot article, the removal of Demon from the team was the hardest decision because he has been with the team since 2011. The final decision for Demon to be excluded from the new EG is a mutual one.
In addition, Braxton 'Brax' Paulson, current LGD.Int player, tried out for Evil Geniuses at one point but was dropped from the team after a two weeks stint because Fear thinks he is not as focused and dedicated during practice. EG replaced Brax with Fogged who is eventually added to the team.
EG is currently participating in WePlay Season Two, very likely to be invited to EMS One America groupstage and also the upcoming MLG Columbus event.

Q：Hello guys. Congratulations on securing a new sponsorship for the team. Was it hard to go through all the procedures and read through the contract before signing them?
EE: It was very difficult for many reasons. It was hard finding a sponsorship that could support a team with players from different regions as it would cost a lot to send us to any LAN. I believe our results are decent and our fan base would be fairly high because of Singsing and partially because of me and aui. However, it was still hard to secure a legit sponsor to send us to events.
Eventually RS got in contact with us and this deal was a dream deal. At first it sounded really shady because we couldn't do research on an organization but instead this is all supported by a few Chinese investors. We had to talk to a bunch of people that know the Chinese scene like LD and Godz etc. to make sure the deal was legit. We also had to talk to a middle man as we don't speak Mandarin, and I had to stay up really late to talk to them.
It's all worth it in the end though!

Alliance then went on to win The International 3 and many are questioning whether the decision you guys are making is the right one. Why have you guys decided to go there at such delicate time?
EE: The sponsor's plan was originally to have a team train there for an entire year like LGD.INT. However, we argued heavily against this. We will still be playing within NA/EURO till December. Then, we can decide whether we want to train back in NA/EURO after 6 months in China. We are taking the approach of training in both scenes.

Q：It's highly probable that Rattlesnake.int will be under the ruling of ACE once you arrive in China. China is very different from the European scene with many restrictions on which tournaments the team can join and which tournaments they can't. In Europe, it's quite different. You have a lot of medium sized tournaments where teams can freely participate in. What do you think about the system set in place in China to the growth of the competitive scene?
EE: I think that China will be much more organized than EURO/NA. We have a lot of matches being too close together in the Western scene, with matches frequently interupting each other. Of course, ACE forces teams to show up on time or there will be penalities. However, I don't think the ACE scene is superior to the west, both sides have its own benefits.
Aui: From a business perspective, it makes sense to limit the big teams appearances so that the big tournaments have more prestige and value. However, I think that there's an over focus on the business side and too little focus on allowing teams to grow.

Q：Before we end the interview, EE-sama, can you enlighten us on what Kaipi actually means?
EE: Kaipi has absolutely no meaning whatsoever, I hated this name when I first joined but I've grown attached to it.

Orange Esports DotA 2.0 in the name of Orange Neolution had a great run in 2013. However, TI3 3rd placing and USD287k/5 prize money could not keep Mushi, Xtinct, Net, KyxY and Ohaiyo in the team. After Mushi left for DK, we are sad to announce the departure of Xtinct-Net-KyxY and Ohaiyo for a new sponsor – Team T*. We hope the new sponsor who promised to pay more than double of what we can afford (1 Euro = 4.3 Ringgit Malaysia; 1 SGD = 2.5 Ringgit Malaysia) will support them till TI4. As such, Orange Neolution could not join the WPC-ACE Tournament in China this weekend and have to reform the entire DotA team from scratch. We wish the XtincT-Net-KyxY-Ohaiyo+Ice ex-Orange Esports team the best in their endeavor.

To clear the air, Orange Esports did not make any monetary gain or get any transfer fees from the new sponsors or TI3. Yes, losing the 5-man team will be a net loss for us and our fans but we can accept it with grace.
