理论上U盘的4K随机性能应该比机械硬盘好。不过应该也和U盘体质有关系。
记得很早以前Vista时代，微软好像就有个用大U盘为系统加速的功能？

I have an external 500gb hard drive (7200 rpm) connected through eSata. I tried using this first, and the stuttering was lessened, but there was still some. Then I tried with a 16gb flash drive that was lying around. With this drive, there was zero stuttering**. I think the lower access time of the flash drive and the fact that my external drive still has spin up speed and a slightly higher access time attributed to less stutter with a flash drive.

换eSATA减少了沒根絕，eSATA和Flash的随机读写相似？不太明白游戏载入卡顿和随机/4K的关系，一般不是硬盘-读取到RAM-运算处理吗
再：

真不需要, USB3对IOPS性能没有什么提高, 至于读取速度, 那不是卡顿的关键.......

某楼玩家花了20美金，体验效果一下子飞跃：
With the USB Key, I maxed out everything, and Im averaging 100 FPS. This is a whole new game, there is no stutter when masses of monsters show up or when new sounds are being played. I am enjoying the game... a lot more! Sure my FPS drop to 40 when there is massive on screen abuse, but 40 is my average when I played the game on my hard drive lol.

Best solution ever, costed me 20$.... may be I should send my bill to blizzard?

笔记本电脑加USB2.0完美解决顿卡：
This proposed solution worked perfectly for me and my Samsung R580. I think the laptop has a relatively slow hard drive. So it often took multiple seconds for for audio effects to load or for loot to drop from chests. I had actually thought it was just constant network delays. But setting up the faked path to a normal USB 2.0 flash drive has solved this virtually entirely.

HDD跟不上暴雪游戏设计了已经
BLZ说要改善，我看传统HDD还真不一定能完全解决，尤其像笔记本5400转的
关键的指标似乎是IOPS

上午划了个16G的ramdisk出来把客户端扔里面妈了个逼的的各种流畅，合着我之前各种顿卡全不干我显卡事，弄的我以为2000M不能战了
