I have searched on Google and Yahoo! for the term \"GPU Bank Flip\", and have come up with nothing, apart from a few questions on other forums asking the same thing. The only thing that I can think about is that it has something to do with the data processing on the graphics card and that only certain cards support this, hence the reason why it is set as Disabled in the BIOS (where present). I am only surmising that it is a method of allowing the GPU to process a frame of data whilst displaying another and that it is only available on systems that can accept multiple graphics cards, either in Crossfire or SLI (based on my system only having a single graphics card slot and it not being mentioned in my BIOS). Of course, I realise that I might be completely wrong, but it would be interesting to find out if this is indeed the case. Of course, it could be a feature that was programmed into some BIOSes, but not actually implemented in actual systems, a bit like the Floppy which can still appear in the BIOS even though the motherboard of which the BIOS is a part doesn\'t even have a floppy controller on board.
这样看来对我没用处了。。。。 |
