瞄了一眼英文社群,发现也有不少非议《永恒之柱》写作水平的,不像中文论坛里一片盛赞之声:
PoE's Eora, as far as I can tell after one full playthrough, is anything but generic fantasy, which is good, but writing and quest design in some places felt excessively dry to me. For that matter, I already can't remember any significant NPC aside from 8 companions and Thaos. More than that, most dialogue in the game is a boring letdown. Can writers just understand quality doesn't equal quantity? Good writers write pages and pages describing every detail, then when they review it they condense the material so that it has the maximum effect. It's called efficient writing, and this is something PoE doesn't have. It has redundant, boring writing the average college professor would give a C- for. Terrible writing and lore
Usually a pre-reading of the manual for these type of games lights my imagination and gets me excited to play, but with this game it fell flat and just made me want to critique how bad it was. The writing is mediocre, they tried so much to emulate the Planescape style ,but they failed miserably.I'm in the second ''city'' and i have yet to see an interesting quest that doesn't involve ''Get my purse'' ,'' Fine me a cure'' ,''Kill this for me'', so what happened? It's like they wasted their whole development time to create the lore, that feel so forced on you, they keep telling you about the cheesy GADHUMMERRRR ,the LEGUCYYY and so on....i don't care about any of that ,they keep trying to make it interesting but it's just not,it's just another fantasy gibberish plot.
