Pixel orbiting (pixel shifting, pixel wobbling) is a technique used by plasma televisions to prevent burn-in of static images on the screen. Pixel orbiting involves imperceptibly shifting the image on the screen, at regular intervals, so what appears to be a static image is actually continuously moving.
