V社的 SteamBox情况出了，怎么没人讨论

之前传闻甚多的Steam Box终于在CES2013（消费电子展）上有PC制作商Xi3和Valve共同宣布。Steam Box正式代号为“Piston”（活塞），是一款平托大小、修改版的PC。

       负责硬件设计的Xi3在CES上带来一个早期版本的Piston，但拒绝透露正在同Valve合作研发硬件的具体配置。Xi3首席市场总监David Politis透露Piston将会支持1T的内部存储空间，并且将提供模块化的硬件升级，包括可选择升级CPU和内存。

       Xi3也同时拒绝谈论Piston售价，但透露Steam Box是基于“性能级”定制电脑X7A所设计的，而X7A售价高达999美元。Xi3拒绝透露Piston和X7A硬件上的差异。

       Xi3也提供入门级定制电脑X5A，售价499美元，运行Linux系统。

       展示用Piston原型机拥有一块I\O主板和以太网卡、SPDIF光纤音频、4个USB 3.0接口、4个USB 2.0接口（其中一个单独作为键盘IO口）、4个e-SATA接口、四个迷你DP接口和一个DP\HDMI通用接口。

huh，你到底想说什么？？？原来的X7A现在就是Steambox了，当然估计还可能单独推出X7A，而且Steam Box也很可能不仅仅是这一个，而是一个来自Valve的授权，商标之类的
如果是定制PC的话，按照那个宣传片，定制度非常高，还是你想说X7A和Piston的区别

这个Xi3明显就是就是找了Valve抱腿推广，Valve也觉得这个符合自己定位，然后再继续推他自己的Steam for Linux和Source SDK Linux。。。。
如果是Feb 2013能推出的话，现在公布确实也是不晚了，装Win也无非是Steam上提供一份驱动，然后自己买Win去。

简单来说就是开机直接进Steam的Big Picture Mode，无他，哪里都一样。。。
没人管你能不能玩什么，Gabe只管你上来是不是登录Steam有没有送钱而已，Steam for Linux能登录Steam Store就行
现在Steam for Linux已经有不少游戏了

"We'll come out with our own and we'll sell it to consumers by ourselves," Newell said. "That'll be a Linux box, if you want to install Windows you can. We're not going to make it hard. This is not some locked box by any stretch of the imagination."
