Club Description:

First and foremost, I would like to make it clear that this is not an elitist club.

Our goal is to come up a list of highly recommended quality shows that are exemplary either within genre or universally. However, everyone has different standards when it comes to this, so I have made up a short list of basic requirements with the goal of ensuring maximum participation from our members.

Entry Requirements:

1. The 'Completed' section of either your Anime or Manga list contains at least 100 entries.
1.你的动画或漫画的Completed（看完）部类下至少要有100条作品
2. The 'Completed' sections of your Anime and Manga lists each may not contain more than 10% of entries awarded a perfect rating of 10. In most cases this will prove that you are able to rise above the hype and will not give a rating of 10 to any show just because it is popular.
2.你的动画和漫画的Completed部类里不能有超过10%的作品评分达到10分满分。一般来说，这表示你面对吹嘘有能力保持清醒，不会因为热门而随便给一个作品10分。
3. The 'Completed' sections of your Anime and Manga lists each may not contain more than 5% of entries not awarded any sort of rating.
3.你的动画和漫画的Completed部类里不能有超过5%的作品未评分
4. The 'Completed' sections of your Anime and Manga lists each can not have a 'mean score' of over 8.0.
4.你的动画和漫画的Completed部类的所有作品评分的总平均分都不能超过8.0

5. Your Anime and Manga lists must be publicly visible.

If you meet all of these requirements and wish to join, but have yet to receive and invitation then feel free to send request. One of the club officers or admins will then review your profile. After reviewing it they will either accept you on the spot or send you a PM explaining the specific reason(s) why your request was declined.


Club Goals:

1. To have members nominate an anime or manga series that they believe is of particularly high quality and that deserve to be added to our 'Club Related' list.
1.组员们提名一部他们认为足够高水准的动画或漫画，值得加入我们的“小组相关”list里。
2. To then have a discussion thread for members to debate the good and negative aspects of the nominated series.

3. To then hold a poll to decide if that nomination truly deserves to be added to our 'Club Related' list.

4. If it is decided that a series is befitting a position on our 'Club Related' list then we will go one step further and create a small committee to write for the series a proper review. It will then be posted on the series' page under this account: TheCriticsClub.
4.如果作品被认定符合加入我们“小组相关“list，我们会进一步发起一个小型委员会为这部作品撰写更进一步的评述。评论将统一被”TheCriticsClub“这个ID放出。

This would be our way of putting a stamp of approval to a select few series that belong to the upper echelons of their respective medium.


Activity Policy


The most important thing is participation in the You Decide Polls so that is how we measure activity within the club:
1. If you fail to vote in a single You Decide poll in a given week, you receive a STRIKE.

2. If you accumulate 3 STRIKES in a month, then you will be removed from the club due to inactivity.STRIKES won't rollover so each month you start with a clean slate of 0 STRIKES.However, we are very lenient with this so if you know ahead of time that you won't be online, just message FOEbulous-max and your absence will be excused whether it be a single weekend or an extended vacation.
2.如果你一个月积累了3次缺席，你将被因为不活跃而被移除这个小组。缺席记录不会延续，每个月你的初始状态都是0缺席状态。我们对此非常宽容，如果你提前知道你无法上网，你可以私信给FOEbulous-max，你的缺席将被原谅，不论仅仅是一个周末还是更长的休期。

前段时间别人告诉我MAL的这个奇葩小组，我好奇就申请加入了，然后很长时间没上过，今天上去看留言发现我被委婉的拒绝了，他们查看我的上线状态，发现我很长时间没登录过了，让我多登录多参与讨论，如果有更多时间表现的更active他们才同意加我……让我想起了山口山的公会活动……

这楼里真正上MAL的人有多少？那个网站民工，伪宅遍地，绝大多数人都是好番10分，普通8·9分，罪王冠级别7分，整个MAL有6分评分的动画没几个。不选择精英模式，投的票毫无价值。
