Pre-order sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita handheld ranked as a top-selling product at Amazon.com Inc. this week due to strong demand.

The PS Vita Wi-Fi SKU ranked as the No. 1 best-selling product in Amazon’s Video Games division this week.

In addition, the PS Vita 3G SKU ranked at No. 7 in the same period.

The PS Vita will include dual analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch OLED display, 3G & GPS, front and rear touch panels, and a compass on three axes. It will utilize flash-memory game cards.

The Wi-Fi only model will sell at $249.99. The 3G model will sell at $299.99.
