ある朝、タクトは学校でヨウ・ミズノという一人の少女と出会う。
"魔女っ子ミズノ"とも呼ばれるその娘は、鳥と話したり他人に魔法の呪文を教えたりと、学園きっての不思議ちゃんであった。
一方綺羅星十字団では、なんとヘッドが休養と称して一時隊より離脱する事になった。
代わりに第２隊を率いる事になったのは、マンティコールという少女。
実は彼女は、現在ザメクに握り潰された状態のサイバディ・アインゴットのスタードライバー。
プロフェッサー・グリーン曰く、壊れたサイバディの復元がついに可能となったのだという。
それは今所在不明である残りの四方の巫女の行方が探せるようになった事も意味していた。
