Wow putting the graphics for prime 2 and 3 side by side like that you can see a huge difference

I can see a huge difference from MP3 and MP2. I just finished playing MP2 a few days ago and the textures and overall design of the environment (except for Sanctuary Fortress) is nothing compared to what I’m seeing for MP3 here. This game is looking beautiful.

Yep, things are looking REALLY good for MP3. I am a little concerned about GameTrailer’s comments about a there being less backtracking and exploration (a bit less is fine, as MP/MP2 arguably had too much, but I hope there’s still plenty of hidden areas to find), but overall… Wow.
The graphics are easily superior to MP1 and 2, and anything currently on the Wii. The comparison video really highlights this in areas such as the beautiful twisting particle effects on the charge beam, the good use of bloom on environments and monsters, the improved texture and environmental lighting effects and just generally the incredibly tight and (dare I say it) cinematic look to everything. |
