I don't care about any shipping nonsense. I'm just annoyed that so much of the plot has revolved around "durrr Elan is nice!" when he didn't do fucking anything. So much of Suletta's "development" so far has been around thinking Elan handing her a tray of prison food makes him the second coming of Jesus. And no, her being naive isn't an excuse for this. Other characters in the series have shown her basic kindness as well. Not that what Elan did was even kind in the first place.
That awkward as fuck Happy Birthday singing out of nowhere was really cringy, too.
Roughly 20% done with the whole show, and there has been zero meaningful plot progression or character development.
It feels like they are trying to pace out the story for 52 episodes, when they only have 26 to work with or something
