Even has fans keep an eye out for more details about Hulu’s upcoming television drama, Marvel Comics has debuted the first teaser for a new Runaways series.
The image casts a spotlight on Nico Minoru, the daughter of dark wizards who serves as leader of group of young heroes. “Just another runaway goth kid with a chip on her shoulder and too much baggage,” the teaser begins. “Just another teen witch with a broken wand.”

Marvel didn’t provide any additional details about the title or the creative team, although it seems likely the publisher will release additional teasers throughout the week.
I**oduced in 2003 by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, The Runaways centered on six kids who discover their parents are secretly members of the Pride, a villainous team of mob bosses, time-travelers, dark wizards, mad scientists, alien invaders and telepathic mutants. Stealing weapons and resources from their parents, the kids pledge to put an end to the Pride and its schemes.
Marvel’s new Runaways series is expected to debut later this year. Premiering in 2018 on Hulu, Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, a loud-and-proud nerd; Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru, a budding wiccan with a carefully crafted goth facade; Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean, whose model-perfect exterior disguises an eagerness to explore her identity and desires; Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes, a brash, purple-haired social justice warrior; Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein, a lacrosse-playing heartthrob with flashes of engineering brilliance; and Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez, the youngest member, known for her positive outlook and deep yearning to belong. They’re joined by Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, James Yaegashi, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, James Marsters and Ever Carradine.

Marvel Comics has released a second teaser image for what is presumably a new Runaways ongoing series featuring the team’s resident jock, Chase.
The teaser describes the character as “just another dumb jock with a big mouth and a square jaw built for taking punches,” before ending with “Just another L.A. nobody with no friends but his dinosaur — and a plan that he can’t afford to screw up.”

Update: Not content to just release one teaser today, Marvel has added an additional Runaways image for Gertrude’s tag team partner Old Lace. While previous teasers came with internal dialogue from the heroes, Old Lace’s thoughts can best be summed up with a “RRRRRAAAAARRRRR?” As for what Old Lace could be questioning is anyone’s guess.

The latest images feature solar-powered alien Karolina Dean and super-strong mutant Molly Hayes. They join the previously released promos showcasing Nico Minoru, Chase Stein and the genetically engineered dinosaur Old Lace. Presumably we can expect Alex Wilder and Gertrude Yorkes any day now.
除了死鬼Alex（好好进监狱改造吧，你）和Gert，创始成员都到齐了。非创始成员应该还能见到Klara，也许Xavin也会从太空回来。

Following a week’s worth of teasers, Marvel Comics today announced author Rainbow Rowell (Eleanor & Park) and artist Kris Anka as the creative team behind the revival of the fan-favorite Runaways, launching in September.
“This is my favorite Marvel book,” Rowell told Entertainment Weekly. “When first reached out to me a few years ago about maybe working for Marvel, it was the first thing I asked him about.”

画风问题先不说。这封面明显没有03版Runaways好（也可能并不是封面？）。我猜漫画就是为了乘连续剧的风续一波，没舍得花钱找大触画封面。怕的是漫威对创作团队不上心，先观望一波。
