Office Sway

http://blogs.office.com/2014/10/01/announcing-office-sway-reimagine-ideas-come-life/ Announcing Office Sway: reimagine how your ideas come to life

windows/android/ios app in the works

oslo明明是Delve的codename

Delve

Today Delve, the Office 365 search and discovery tool formerly called Oslo, is being rolled out to Office 365 business customers worldwide. The Office team encourages all employees to try Delve and discover how it brings information to you (not the other way around).
It's probing your inbox, your OneDrive for Business folder, SharePoint Online, and Yammer to find content and connections that are relevant to your job. Think of it as next-generation search and discovery, said Ashok Kuppusamy, group program manager for the FAST Experiences engineering team.
Information finds you rather than the other way around.
Employees have had access to Delve, the Office 365 search tool formerly code-named Oslo, for several months. (You can also access it from any Office 365 site by clicking the Delve link in the navigation bar at the top of the page.) Today, Delve starts being rolled out to Office 365 business customers, Julia White announced on the Office blog.
Delve is powered by sophisticated machine-learning techniques on top of the Office Graph, which is essentially a map of the relationships between people, content, and activity that occurs everywhere within Office. Delve works behind the scenes to pull in content from different places and then serves up a visual snapshot of all that content through a simple card-based design.
The result is not just a search solution, but a new way of working, White said.
"Delve simply makes work more intuitive and easier to navigate," she wrote. "Instead of having to dig through email, search on Yammer, or explore SharePoint and OneDrive for Business to find the right stuff, you can simply use Delve and have the right information delivered to you."
The experience can feel a bit like magic, Kuppusamy said. Last week he was in a meeting where a presenter couldn't find his PowerPoint deck and was getting stressed out as attendees were waiting for the meeting to start. Kuppusamy searched his name in Delve and quickly found the deck. A few weeks before that he discovered an interesting document that a colleague was working on. The next day that coworker sent it to Kuppusamy for his feedback. "Thanks to Delve I was already one step ahead," he said.
Office Graph The Office Graph uses sophisticated machine-learning techniques to connect you to the relevant documents, conversations, and people around you. Click the image to enlarge. With Delve, you don't have to change anything about the way you work. It's automatically populated with the activities you already do every day, such as which documents you share, which people you meet with, and which documents you read, Kuppusamy said. In the coming months, Delve will incorporate additional sources, such as email attachments, video, OneNote, calendar, and Lync meetings.
Delve and the Office Graph represent a huge strategic asset for Microsoft, Kuppusamy said. Yet Delve is just the tip of the iceberg for the kinds of experiences the Office Graph can power.
"I think Delve signals the first wave of intelligent software coming from Microsoft," he said. "It's not just about adding more features and capabilities in our products. It's about harnessing all the data and content that an organization produces just by working and unleashing all sorts of new intelligent experiences."
In the meantime, he encouraged employees to give Delve a try. "You'll find something useful the first time you open it," he promised. And feel free to search for a colleague—or "delve into someone," as the Fast engineering team puts it. You'll probably find something interesting just by seeing what your coworkers are up to.
After you check out Delve, share your thoughts by using the Office Send a Smile or Frown feature. It's only fair to send a little information back.

目前还只是针对365 business 以后铺开是肯定的
